      Update on Disneyland Resort Operations

      Last Updated: June 24, 2020

While the Disneyland Resort is currently closed, we are pleased to share our proposed plans for a phased reopening:

The Downtown Disney District will begin reopening on July 9. Learn what you can expect during your next visit.

The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort remain closed and will reopen at a later date.

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park remain closed and will reopen at a later date, pending state and local government approvals.

Upon reopening, certain Disneyland Resort theme parks, hotels, restaurants and other locations may be limited in capacity and subject to restricted availability or even closure based on guidance from health experts and government officials. Furthermore, certain attractions, experiences, services and amenities will be modified, have limited availability or remain closed. Park admission and offerings are not guaranteed.

Additionally, all Guests, including all Annual Passholders, will be required to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance through a new theme park reservation system. Theme park reservations will be subject to availability. New ticket sales and Annual Passport sales and renewals are currently paused.

We will provide more information as it becomes available. We reserve the right to cancel any reservations, admission media or purchases and provide applicable refunds. Please also see our policies regarding modifications and cancellations by Guests.

Our focus remains on the health and safety of the entire Disney community—including the well-being of the Cast Members who are caring for and securing our parks and Resort hotels during the closure. We’re currently evaluating new and enhanced health and safety measures to help us all stay well. Learn more about these measures.

Below, you’ll find information on impacts to current and upcoming plans. Please continue to check back for additional updates.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, our other Guests and Cast Members—and we ask that you follow all posted instructions while visiting the Disneyland Resort.

However, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting the Disneyland Resort, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

We anticipate heavy call volume and appreciate our Guests’ patience as we work hard to respond to all inquiries.

      Modifications and Cancellations

      Annual Passports

This is a truly unprecedented time for all of us, and we want to thank you for your patience as we work through the many details related to the temporary closure of the theme parks. We recognize this may be a challenging time, so we wanted to share how we will assist our Annual Passholders.

If you are an Annual Passholder who has paid in full:
All active Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders who have paid for their Passports in full will automatically have their Passport expiration date extended due to theme park closures to provide additional access opportunities at the end of the Passport term. The new expiration date will be reflected on the Annual Passholder’s Passport account prior to the reopening of the theme parks.

As an alternative, and in lieu of an extension of their Passports, Passholders who have paid in full may choose to receive a partial refund for the theme park closure period. To request this alternative option, we ask that you contact Annual Passport Member Services at (714) 781-4567. We do anticipate heavy call volume and appreciate your patience as we answer all inquiries.

If you are an Annual Passholder on the Monthly Payment Plan:
On April 5, 2020, we automatically stopped and will waive monthly payments due while the theme parks are closed. We will also retroactively refund payments made between March 14 through April 4, 2020. Payments will resume on the Passholder’s regularly scheduled payment dates once the parks reopen. Please note, Passport expiration dates will not be extended and Passports will expire upon their originally scheduled expiration dates.

As an alternative, Guests who are paying for Disneyland Resort Annual Passports using our monthly payment program may choose to have their monthly payments postponed starting with payments due April 5 through the park closure period, and then resumed on the Passholder’s regularly scheduled payment date once the parks reopen. Postponed payments will be collected in the months following the end of the Passholder’s currently scheduled payment term. The Passport expiration date will be extended due to the theme park closures to provide additional access opportunities at the end of the Passport term. The new expiration date will be reflected on the Annual Passholder’s Passport account prior to the reopening of the theme parks. To request this alternative option, we ask that you contact Annual Passport Member Services at (714) 781-4567. We do anticipate heavy call volume and appreciate your patience as we answer all inquiries.

Our Annual Passholders are some of our most loyal Guests, and we stand ready to help during this incredibly uncertain time. If you have any questions, please contact Annual Passholder Member Services at (714) 781-4567.
