The heart of every estate plan is a will, also known as a last will and testament. This legal document puts you in control of who inherits your property and who would take care of your children if it were ever necessary. Without a will, state law determines these issues. Your will also allows you to name an executor (sometimes called a “personal representative”) to carry out our wishes. And you can appoint a trusted person to manage property left to young people. With Quicken WillMaker & Trust, you can revise and update your will whenever you like.

Spare your loved ones difficult decisions by laying out your wishes for medical care and naming someone to carry out your instructions. Includes a health care power of attorney and a living will.
A durable power of attorney ensures that someone you trust (called your "agent" or "attorney-in-fact") will be on hand to manage the many practical, financial tasks that will arise if you become incapacitated. For example, bills must be paid, bank deposits must be made and someone must handle insurance and benefits paperwork. In most cases, a durable power of attorney for finances is the best way to take care of tasks like these. You can also give your attorney-in-fact authority over your digital assets.

- The 2020 version is the third iteration we've used to prepare our wills and/or other end-of-life documents. It's well organized and intuitive to use, although you have to dedicate plenty of time to complete all available documents. Starting and saving drafts along the way makes it less overwhelming. - Loved everything about this product. So easy to use and everything so clear and helpful. My one complaint is that each multi-page document that was produced a PDF did not clearly indicate on each and every page what document the page belonged to. For example, Affidavit and Acknowledgement pages did not indicate what document they were 'acknowledging' or 'affadaviting'. Each and every page that is produced and included in the totality of a Will or a Trust or a Financial DPA or a Health DPA should indicate what document the page pertains to.

- I was very pleased with the Willmaker product that includes Will,Advance Healthcare Directive,Financial POA,Final Arrangements,and Information for Caregivers and Survivors. The information and questions were very thorough,and I needed to think things through before answering. I also realized that not all questions need to be answered,and some information will come up again in later pages of a document. - This product was purchased to update the estate of my parents who had not updated their will in over 20 years (that too, using WillMaker). WillMaker Plus came with 1 year free access to the Revocable Living Trust software which is what I was primarily interested in. Between WillMaker Plus and the Trust software, my parents now have a organized estate which includes the trust, pour-over wills, healthcare power of attorney, and financial power of attorney documents in a California-legal format. Getting the product on sale in August was a perk as well. The software is simple and straightforward, just as the Nolo software has always been. In some ways it is a bit too simple, since you can't make minor modifications, but these are legal document templates that are meant for low stress. (Posted on 8/1/2019)

- WillMaker is incredibly easy to use and was just what we needed to update our Wills before leaving the country.
