Severe Thunderstorms in the Upper Midwest to the Central Plains; Several Areas of Flash Flood Threat Today

Severe thunderstorms producing severe wind, hail, and localized flash flooding, are expected from the northern/central Plains into the Upper Midwest. Excessive rainfall may produce flash flooding today in portions of the Southeast, the Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast.
